"To mark the 21st anniversary of Friends, Premier worked on Comedy Central's FriendsFest."

To mark the 21st anniversary of Friends, Premier worked with Comedy Central UK to bring a touch of New York chic to London's trendy East End with Comedy Central's FriendsFest, a week-long interactive and immersive fan experience.

FriendsFest featured a full scale set of Monica's apartment, an exhibition of original props, a Central Perk inspired café, Rachel's Hair Salon, and much more.

Following our initial announcement, FriendsFest sold out in a staggering 23 minutes and saw 267k fans apply for 5k tickets.

The event, which trended on Twitter six times throughout the five day run, was launched by James Michael Tyler who played Gunther in the series. James took part in an extensive media tour during his stay, which included appearances on Good Morning Britain, The One Show and BBC Radio 1.

Journalists and celebrities, including Michelle Keegan, Alesha Dixon and Sam Faiers, who attended the launch party were treated to delicious Friends-themed canapés and prosecco from our friends at Lidl (who also provided guests with complimentary coffee and cookies throughout the event).

It wasn't just Premier who loved Comedy Central's FriendsFest; here's what some of the media had to say:

Olivia Foster, Entertainment Editor, Marie Claire said, "FriendsFest was literally the best event I have ever been to in my five years as a journalist, hands down."

Rhiannon Evans, Deputy News Editor, Heat commented, "The event itself was amazing – I have never taken so many photos, or seen so many photos taken. The party was so well organised, there was great food and drink and have rarely seen a load of showbiz journos so happy and excited about something."

Stephen Leng, Digital TV Editor, OK! "FriendsFest was a fantastic event - a true one-off experience. Everything was very well planned and executed, even down to the mini pizza boxes. The guest list was fabulous too! Well done Premier and Comedy Central!"

Chi Chi Izundu, Senior Entertainment Reporter, BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat added, "Literally, one of the best events put together of such a long time that I've been to… the level of detail and thought that had gone into it was immense."

So far, the campaign has generated 290 pieces of mainstream press coverage (print, online and broadcast media) and a total reach of 224.6million.
