Premier handled the online publicity, social and influencer outreach for the multi-platform cinema and home entertainment release of Gascoigne about the career and life of a sporting icon for eOne.  The campaign began with a trailer first look exclusive with the Mail Online followed by wide release causing a huge spike in social discussion.  Closer to release we arranged an exclusive web chat with Paul Gascoigne on www.theguardian.com. The 30 minute web chat was hosted in their sport section and promoted heavily across The Guardian website including coverage on the main homepage, Sport, Football, Video, Culture and social media channels. A highlights video was also recorded and ran the following day, with quotes picked up on various sites including AOL, The Huffington Post, MSN, Seriously Soccer and 101 Great Goals. www.theguardian.com Further interviews were given to Sports and wider lifestyle media online including BBC Sport, Sun Online, Yahoo and many more.

Competitions were run to win signed footballs, shirts and posters across online media, official movie and football club social channels.

Influencer outreach saw a tactical seeding campaign to Gascoigne's former team mates as well as the current England squad resulting in Wayne Rooney sharing the trailer to his 11.5m twitter followers and Jack Wilshere watching the DVD before his England Vs Slovenia game. After winning the match Jack mentioned the Gascoigne film inspired him to "seize the moment" with his winning goal - his positive comments received coverage across print and online editions of The Guardian, Mail Online, The Telegraph, Mirror, Express Online, The Independent, Daily Star, Yahoo! Sport, ESPN and more.

The home entertainment release topped the charts and was a huge sales success.
