Premier’s award winning DVD & Blu-ray team are proud to have produced the BFI’s biggest ever home entertainment release – Dissent & Disruption: Alan Clarke at the BBC (1969-1989). This massive 30-disc project spanning both DVD & Blu-ray is the biggest single collection of films by a British director ever released and features over 12 hours of extras.

The collection brings together twenty-three of the surviving stand-alone BBC TV dramas that Alan Clarke directed between 1969 and 1989, including ‘To Encourage the Others’, ‘Horace’, ‘Penda’s Fen’, ‘Diane’, ‘Contact’, ‘Christine’ and ‘Elephant’, and also includes the first ever presentation of Clarkes’ original Director’s Cut of ‘The Firm’, assembled from his personal answer print discovered in 2015.
