Following a competitive pitch in summer 2015, Premier was appointed by Dot London, the capital’s unique domain name and a subsidiary of London & Partners, to devise, produce and manage the capital’s newest awards scheme for small business, the Dot London Small Business Awards.
Premier was responsible for handling all elements of the project, including logistics, publicity, social media and event production, in addition to designing, developing and managing the awards website and digital marketing strategy. The project also included recruiting a panel of specialist judges from across the world of business, led by Dragons’ Den’s Sarah Willingham, and the people behind such successful brands as Made.Com, LEON Restaurants and Oliver Bonas. The awards were launched in October 2015 and supported by a four month PR, social media and direct marketing campaign that led to coverage across broadcast print and online which firmly placed the awards at the heart of the London business sector.
The awards celebrated achievement across a range of categories, including Best Place to Eat, Best Place to Drink and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, with the ultimate winners chosen by a public vote and announced on 22nd January at an exclusive event at the spectacular IET Riverside hosted by Strictly Come Dancing’s Katie Derham.
