Premier was tasked by Twentieth Century Fox’s theatrical team to conceive an experiential stunt bringing to life the much-loved Independence Day franchise in London to celebrate the release of Independence Day: Resurgence. Utilising a partnership with Virgin Trains around their Beam service, Premier conceived a ‘Phone Resurgence’ installation housing an incredibly lifelike breathing alien that apparently channelled its energy to charge commuters’ phones and broadcast film content. The alien itself was crafted by hand based exactly on the stunning creatures from the films, as was the glowing, smoking 10ft tall interactive capsule that housed it. The installation was live at Euston Station for a week after being unveiled by Alex Zane. Media coverage included ITV News, Evening Standard, BBC Three, MSN, Digital Spy, AOL and several minutes on Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
