This London Fashion Week, Premier continued to manage the sponsorship for COTTON USA (now in its 13th year) by celebrating the designer of the moment Faustine Steinmetz.
The Parisian designer specialises in hand crafted luxury denim. She spins, dyes and weaves her own fabrics into re-imagined iconic pieces that now sell in excess of £6000 per garment.
This year Faustine showed her AW16 collection at the Tate Britain, receiving a whirlwind of global recognition in the weeks that followed. The project’s PR value today has exceeded over £1 million with features in Vogue, Style, The Telegraph and NOW Fashion to name a few.
Loved by the likes of Sarah Mower, Susie Bubble and Showstudio, Faustine has also recently dressed the music artist FKA Twigs on her worldwide tour.
Faustine is currently shortlisted for both the prestigious LVMH Young Designers Award and the International Woolmark Prize
Faustine is one of many designers Premier are currently in partnership with. Each season the fashion team work tirelessly to scout the next break-through designer and then continue to manage and support the relationship throughout the fashion calendar. In the past Premier has worked with other Fashion Week giants including Preen, Richard Nicoll, Meadham Kirchhoff and Louise Gray.
