Account Executive - Stunts & Experiential

We are looking for a Account Executive to join the Premier Stunts & Experiential team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the wider team across a broad range of entertainment PR Stunts, experiential activations and large-scale events. A varied role including PR support, live event management, creative brainstorming and idea development, admin and planning. The candidate should be creative, show great initiative and hunger to deliver cutting edge stunts and experiences for an incredibly exciting sector, working with major film studios and television networks.

Key Tasks (Publicity)

  • Foster and maintain media relationships, with particular emphasis on picture editors, features writers, online video and broadcast contacts
  • Distribute press releases/photos/invites and carry out media sell-ins as directed by the team
  • Scan and circulate press cuttings to the account team on all allocated projects
  • Distribute to clients/team director and archive daily press cuttings
  • Alongside the Senior Account Exec, collate PowerPoint client reports at the end of each campaign
  • Draft press materials
  • Draft photography and video briefs
  • Assist the team in securing coverage and media social channel exposure
  • Maintain and update team contacts database with media (including film editors, TV editors, showbiz editors, listings editors, picture editors etc)

Key Tasks (Stunts/Logistics)

  • Support wider team in PR stunt, experience and event planning, working closely with Event Producers and Senior Account Exec
  • Source competitive quotes and idea input from third parties
  • Research and pro-actively foster relationships with third parties to assist in creating campaigns
  • Assist with production of key documentation for events, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, insurance and production schedules
  • Live event assistance and willingness to work unusual hours during event periods (every few weeks)
  • Maintain and update team contacts database with suppliers (including venues, production companies etc)

Key Tasks (General)

  • Take part in team and company-wide brainstorms
  • Maintain and update team research and brainstorm methods
  • Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of all projects
  • Deal with phone queries, open mail, emails and deal as appropriate
  • Attend client meetings
  • Manage the quality output of interns and work experience
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge – and take an active interest in – the Home Entertainment / Film / TV industry as a whole (i.e. regular consumption of suitable media, websites and social channels)
  • Show an active interest and share trends and experiences in the event and creative industries, visiting and arranging trips to exhibitions, pop-ups, tech demonstrations and anything that could inform creative ideas
  • Follow all house systems and styles
  • Book travel requirements, taxis, bikes, couriers etc as required

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Willingness to get involved in the broad requirements of the role
  • Understanding of occasional long and outside of the usual working hours
  • Basic understanding, interest and passion for the entertainment industry, particularly film and television, as well as events and experiential trends
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programmes including PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Preferred:

  • Some previous experience (could be intern or work experience level) in the PR or events sector
  • Strong media contacts and knowledge of media landscape
  • Experience in PR stunts
  • Basic skills in any design programmes such as PhotoShop, Adobe etc
  • Good knowledge of London
