Building Services Supervisor

Job function:
- Arrange and manage regular company fire drills
- Trained first aider (course will be provided and paid for)
- Organise, monitor and log Fire alarm and extinguisher maintenance with external supplier
- Organise, monitor and log air conditioning maintenance with external supplier
- Simple general repairs around the building e.g., lightbulbs, hanging pictures, building flat pack furniture
- Organise quotes from tradespeople for larger repairs or building projects in the building
- Supervision of external tradespeople to ensure work is completed to a good standard and in a timely manner
- Cover of Goods in/Despatch area as required. Holiday/lunch cover
- Cover of Reception and phone as required. Holiday/lunch cover
- Keep building organised and tidy (We have contract cleaners)
- Help departments move and organise heavy or bulky items to go out or come back in from Events
- Organise additional rubbish removal (skip van) as and when needed
What we need:
- Good Spoken English
- Reasonable standard of written English
- Reasonable numeracy skills
- Basic computer literacy with familiarity of email use, Microsoft word and excel
- Hardworking
- Helpful and friendly
- Self-motivated
- Likeable
