Personal Department – Senior Publicist

We are recruiting a Senior Publicist in Premier’s personal representation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a range of clients in film, television and theatre, joining a fast-paced and dynamic department in a highly creative role. Premier’s Personal division is renowned for its top-level client list, strong teamwork and delivering unparalleled results for its clients. We are offering this full-time position to a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 4 years’ experience, wishing to develop their career further in this sector.

The successful candidate will work in Premier’s Personal department, working with a busy roster of clients and providing support for the team. This role is an opportunity to help lead, set up and coordinate projects such as film and television campaigns, press days and junkets, premieres, and photoshoots and provides on-the-job training, mentorship and career progression alongside experienced Personal PR professionals.

Candidates should be hands-on, solutions-driven, demonstrate excellent knowledge of the media and cultural landscape, and bring existing strong media relationships and other beneficial connections. Film and television publicity experience is preferred but not essential.

Key tasks:

  • Client liaison
  • Client cover (photo shoots, press events, press tours etc)
  • Campaign strategy
  • Journalist/media pitching

Desirable experience, skills and personal qualities:

  • PR experience (min 4 years, relevant experience preferred)
  • Good journalist contacts and relationships
  • Excellent knowledge of UK media
  • Highly organised with excellent administrative skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Self-motivator
  • Creativity, initiative, imagination and flexibility
  • Excellent knowledge about the entertainment space (including film/TV/theatre/fashion)
