Star Wars BB8

The force was strong for Premier when a BB-8 inspired initiative helped raise much needed funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Producing 60 casts of the popular spherical droid, Premier and client Disney challenged celebrities, artists and stars of the film The Force Awakens to redesign the character to mark the film's release on Blu-Ray and DVD.

In partnership with Force for Change and the British government's GREAT campaign, the artworks culminated in an exhibition at the White Space on Mortimer Street, attended by many of the artists.

Participants included stars of the film Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Anthony Daniels and Warwick Davis.

Alongside the BB-8 initiative, Premier also worked with Disney to host a Gala Screening for fans and media at Picturehouse Central to showcase the hour long special features on the Blu-ray. C-3PO, RD-D2 and Stormtroopers were in attendance to meet and greet with the fans and a green screen photo opportunity allowed guests to hold their very own light saber fights. John Boyega was also in attendance to introduce the event to all fans and media present.
