Key Artwork for Sky One’s Jamestown Series 2

CLIENT:
Carnival Films

BRIEF:
Carnival Films appointed Premier to commission and produce a gallery and key-art shoot for Series 2 of Sky One’s Jamestown. For this series, Carnival wished to emphasise and elevate the Native American aspect of the show.

WHAT WE DID:

Based on early ‘scamps’, Premier explored the idea of using the main Native American character Chacrow as a bold and singular creative statement. The team developed close-up profile shots of both Chacrow (played by Kalani Queypo) and Henry (played by Max Beesley) and a group sketch was added.

The shoot was produced and directed in Budapest over 2 days and included full-length, mid-length, and head shots of 17 cast members, plus a separate lighting brief for the key art head shots of Max and Kalani.

Using this artwork, Sky Creative created a campaign with a variety of the cast, with Chacrow always centrally positioned. Headshots of the cast were identicially graded and featured as the campaign evolved over the series duration.
