The Eurovision Song Contest 2018

Premier is proud to be the European Broadcasting Union's (EBU) global PR and social media agency, responsible for managing communications and social channels for the world's most watched entertainment event, The Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Lisbon, Portugal in May 2018.

Premier's role sees us delivering strategic communications guidance round the year, managing crisis communications, and overseeing press at the event including the press centre, accreditation of journalists from all over the world, press conferences and red carpet media management.

As the official social media agency of the Eurovision Song Contest, we provide strategic insight on how to drive interest and awareness of the Contest among target audiences, drive meaningful social engagement with our audiences, and provide unique, tailored, exclusive content across all platforms.

For the 2018 competition we introduced a number of exciting new innovations to the activity, including a celebrity ambassador and influencer programme, as well as working with all the major social media platforms, to drive the best results the contest has ever seen.
