ATG Summer Party
22 October 2019

The Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) hosted a lavish Summer Party at Kensington Palace Gardens on Sunday 8 October 2019. Presented by ATG Chief Executive Mark Cornell, and hosted by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the ATG Summer party was in celebration of Sir Ian McKellen’s charity work.
An unmissable new date in the arts and entertainment calendar the exclusive ATG Summer Party was to celebrate the incredible fundraising efforts of Sir Ian McKellen, and in recognition of the significant contribution the actor has made to the theatre and film industries throughout his illustrious career as he celebrates his 80th birthday this year.
Sir Ian McKellen has raised more than £3 million alone for regional theatres, and his one man show Sir Ian McKellen on Stage: with Tolkien, Shakespeare, others and YOU! has transferred to the West End’s Harold Pinter Theatre, with all further profits from the run benefitting a selection of theatre charities.
VIP guests who attend the lavish and exclusive ATG Summer Party alongside Sir Ian McKellen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and ATG Chief Executive Mark Cornell included Matthew Bourne, Brian Conley, Sonia Friedman, Denise Gough, Kelsey Grammar and Kayte Walsh, Susan Hampshire, Patricia Hodge, Jeremy Irons and Sinéad Cusack, Lucie Jones, Bonnie Langford, Iwan Rheon, Dan Stevens and Neil Tennant.
Three departments at Premier worked closely together across PR, Experiential and Event management for this event.
Coverage was secured in high-end key party and society outlets including Tatler.co.uk and HarpersBazaar.com, mainstream media including The Evening Standard - Londoner’s Diary and MailOnline, as well as theatre specialist outlets including The Stage and Whatsonstage.com.
