Premier worked on the UK and international PR for this year’s Gramophone Awards, often dubbed the ‘Oscars’ of the classical music world. Each year, Gramophone Magazine award 10 exquisite recordings with Gramophone Awards, as well as naming Artist of the Year, Young Artist of the Year, Orchestra of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award, among others.
The industry came out in full force on the 16th October for a star-studded evening of music and celebration. This year saw break-dancing countertenor winning Young Artist of the Year, Iceland pianist Víkingur Ólafsson winning Artist of the Year, and Dame Emma Kirby awarded with Lifetime Achievement. We secured international coverage across a variety of media, including the Times and the Guardian, and radio coverage on Classic FM, BBC Radio 3, 4 and Scala Radio.
