London Film Festival

This year’s BFI London Film Festival was as busy as ever for the Premier film team. We handled a total of 19 titles in various capacities: full UK and international junkets, UK only, international only, talent handling and our ongoing work overseeing the featured Italian films for Istituto Luce-Cinecittà.
This year’s titles were The Personal History of David Copperfield (Armando Iannucci), Opening Night Gala; Jojo Rabbit (Taika Waititi), Headline Gala; The Report (Scott Burns); Honey Boy (Alma Har’el); Marriage Story (Noah Baumbach), The May Fair Hotel Gala; Atlantics (Mati Diop), winner of the First Feature (Sutherland Award); Lynn + Lucy (Fyzal Boulifa); Knives Out (Rian Johnson), The American Express Gala; Nocturnal (Nathalie Biancheri); and Scales (Shahad Ameen). As well as the filmmakers present, the talent we looked after included Dev Patel, Hugh Laurie, Gwendolyn Christie, Peter Capaldi, Shia LeBeouf, Lucas Hedges, Adam Driver, Annette Bening, Laura Dern, Ray Liotta, Katherine Langford, Ana de Armas and Don Johnson. There were nine Italian films selected this year which included The Traitor (Marco Bellocchio) and Martin Eden (Pietro Marcello). Clients included Fox Searchlight, Sony, Netflix, Curzon, Amazon, Lionsgate, Istituto Luce-Cinecittà and FilmNation.
