Zurich Film Festival

Premier Film managed the International Press Office for the Zurich Film Festival (ZFF), the 15th edition of which took place from 26 September to 6 October. Headline guests included Kristen Stewart, Javier Bardem, Julie Delpy, Roland Emmerich, Donald Sutherland, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Oliver Stone, who served as Competition Jury President, while Cate Blanchett was honoured with the Golden Icon Award.

Winners of the three competition categories were Sound of Metal by Darius Marder (International Feature Film), Collective by Alexander Nanau (International Documentary Film) and Systemsprenger by Nora Fingscheidt (Focus: Switzerland, Germany, Austria). ZFF attracted record numbers of visitors, including filmmaker guests and international press. Co-Directors Nadja Schildknecht and Karl Spoerri said that the figures show that the festival is now well-established in Switzerland and enjoys ever-increasing international appeal. The 16th Zurich Film Festival will take place from September 25 to October 4, 2020.
