Premier is proud to represent Sam Mendes, director of 1917, and the film’s lead actors George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman. The First World War epic is currently topping the box office charts, and is a front runner in the 2020 awards conversation having already picked up two Golden Globes (Best Film and Best Director), the PGA Award for Best Film, and the top prize at the Directors Guild of America Awards. The film has nine BAFTA nominations and ten Academy Award nominations, and it’s success comes in the wake of Sam Mendes being recognised by the Queen with a knighthood in the New Year’s honours list. In addition to working with Sam Mendes Premier’s Personal PR team have been working closely with George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman across the campaign for 1917, helping to position them as two of the biggest breakout stars of 2020, with both actors being recognised including George being named one of the Virtuoso winners at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
