I May Destroy You

Summer 2020 will be remembered for many things. I MAY DESTROY YOU, the stunning creation from BAFTA-award-winning writer, actress, producer, director and poet, Michaela Coel, will surely be among them.

Made by Various Artists Limited (VAL) and FALKNA Productions for BBC One and HBO, the series was handled from script to screen by Premier. Our Television team crafted a campaign that sensitively and creatively launched the show to the world.

With responsibility for international co-ordination between marketing, social, imagery and press teams at HBO and the BBC, Premier TV worked across the creation and management of all publicity materials from messaging, unit stills and key art to a comprehensive media pack.

The three leads; Michaela Coel, Weruche Opia and Paapa Essiedu – all represented by the Premier Personal department – undertook an extensive spread of global media, dominating column inches and airwaves during transmission.

Executive producer Phil Clarke, intimacy co-ordinator, Ita O’Brien, costume designer, Lynsey Moore, hair and make-up designer Bethan Swan alongside cast members Aml Ameen, Harriet Webb and Lauren-Joy Williams were also placed in trade and consumer titles.
