Premier is handling various aspects of the publicity for Misbehaviour, directed by Philippa Lowthorpe and starring Keira Knightley, Jessie Buckley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Keeley Hawes, Rhys Ifans, Greg Kinnear and Lesley Manville.

We started on the project as unit publicists on behalf of the lead producer, Pathe, at the end of 2018. We are now gearing up to its UK release on 13 March, and additionally the International team are working alongside the UK release team on talent access, both elements also for Pathe. Premier’s Creative division has been responsible for filming various interviews for the release and lastly, we are handling media management for the film’s world premiere on 9 March, which will be held at Ham Yard Hotel with a number of the stars, the filmmakers and the real-life characters in attendance. This event is being produced by Premier’s event production team.

A strong element of this campaign is the real life story, the dramatic final of Miss World in 1970, an event which made headlines around the world after it was disrupted by a women’s lib protest, and then went on to be won by a black woman for the first time. Many of those involved that night, protestors and contestants, have been good enough to give up their time and agree to participate in print features, key online, and TV and radio appearances, remembering the events 50 years on, and looking at how they prompted significant changes for women. These include The Guardian F&M, Sunday Times Magazine, Radio Times, BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC News at 10 and BBC1 The One Show.
