Scenes in the Square

Premier this month announced ‘Scenes in the Square, a significant cultural project for London that will see dynamic bronze statues appear around Leicester Square from late February. Classic scenes from the likes of Singin’ in the Rain, Wonder Woman, Mary Poppins and Paddington, will be brought to life around the square and gardens in a long-term interactive installation.

Brought to life for Heart of London Business Alliance and in partnership with several major film studios, the statue trail celebrates 100 years of cinema in the square and we hope that the first eight scenes are just the beginning of a long term celebration of film and entertainment.
