Death in Paradise. Red Planet Pictures for BBC One

The television team has been working with Red Planet Pictures on the BBC One ratings-hit Death in Paradise for many years. The team work from unit through to TX and beyond, managing everything from set visits and live broadcast interviews from Guadeloupe, placing exclusive clips and photography through to pitching and overseeing on and off screen talent interviews and features across print, broadcast and online media.

In 2021 Death in Paradise not only celebrated its tenth anniversary and were one of the first dramas to return to filming during the pandemic. As well as the usual baffling murders, intriguing puzzles and famous guest stars, we announced new and returning cast including a special announcement live from the Caribbean on The One Show revealing Ben Miller’s cameo. We virtual press junkets from Guadeloupe with cast and producers and the coverage dominated TV media with special features running in print media from broadsheets and tabloids to online and broadcast outlets. As well as a live Q&A with The Royal Television Society for members and selected press, the team also arranged a Radio Times Q&A and a HELLO! Webinar with on and off-screen talent. All of which secured positive blanket media coverage and created a buzz across social media.
