Nomadland

Nomadland was released in UK cinemas on May 17th marking the end of a long journey for the Film Team which began with the global launch of the film at the Venice Film Festival last September, where the film garnered huge critical success and won the top prize, the Golden Lion. Having quickly become a front runner in the awards race Nomadland nabbed Best Picture at this years BAFTA and Academy Awards, with Frances McDormand awarded for Best Actress and Chloé Zhao for Best Director. The Film Team worked across both the UK and International campaigns for the film, seeing it launch on Disney+ Star on April 30th.

Nomadland stars Frances McDormand as Fern who, following the death of her husband and economic collapse of her company town, sets out on the road to live life as a modern day nomad. Featuring superb performances from real life nomads, the film blends fiction and documentary to present an illuminating and affecting portrait of modern America.
