Empire of Light

Premier headed down to Margate for the weekend in early January as the PR campaign for Sam Mendes’ EMPIRE OF LIGHT reached its climax. After handling UK publicity for the film from its festival launch until its UK release on January 9, Premier accompanied EMPIRE OF LIGHT as it returned to the vital filming location of Dreamland for a South Coast Gala Screening attended by director Sam Mendes, producer Pippa Harris and stars Olivia Colman and Toby Jones. Premier provided media management for press covering the event which celebrated the local community’s contribution to the film as well as the enduring power of cinema. Alongside a group of photographers whose photos were picked up by The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, Daily Express and The I, press in attendance included ITV Meridian, PA, Global Radio, Virgin Radio, Getty and The One Show who produced a special video package filmed at various sets used throughout the film.
