RuPaul’s DragCon UK

Premier got 2023 off to a flying start, running the PR for the spectacular three-day extravaganza that is RuPaul’s DragCon UK, from 6-8th January at ExCeL London. We have been working on and pre-promoting the convention since announcement in March 2022, and, despite the train strikes, we had over 200 accredited press attending across the three days from over 100 outlets. We managed 2 photo call moments on the pink carpet on the Friday, interviews with over 60 queens in the press room across the 3 days, alongside overseeing asset capture and issuing of press releases to launch the “Ru-year” in style.

Since the start of the campaign over 285 pieces have run across broadcast, print, online and social including BBC and ITV News London, picture stories in The Guardian, The Times and Daily Star and interviews with queens in the Mirror Online, Gay Times, Digital Spy, Metro and BuzzFeed reaching a combined audience of over 400milion…so far.
